Jacob Buffa

Jacob Buffa took his background in baseball and Olympic Weightlifting and went on to Missouri State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science. During his career at MSU, Buffa took over and ran a still successful Crossfit and athletic development program that included athletes ranging from National level weightlifters all the way to professional baseball players. As a coach, Buffa has worked with numerous collegiate and professional athletes, and focuses on injury prevention and systematic strength progressions that produce the most dominant athletes possible.

Shanna has been doing personal training for six years but has been an athlete for her whole life. Born and raised in Springfield Missouri, she grew up playing sports such as travel Fast Pitch, volleyball, six years of track and field as a sprinter and has recently found a love for Olympic Lifting and CrossFit. She has an advanced knowledge of the Human Kinetic System, nutrition and with a background in Kinesiology at Missouri State University. Shanna’s experience range from one-on-one personal training, group club fitness, youth development, CrossFit and even experience in a powerlifting setting. She received her CrossFit Level 1 and Olympic Weightlifting in 2013 and 2014 as well as her National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2012, with an emphasis on Cardio performance and Woman’s fitness. Her passion goes beyond helping athletes succeed physically, she also emphasizes the importance of developing the interpersonal skills and attitude that will help on or off the field.
Matthew Maier, M.Ed, CSCS, U. S. Olympic certified weightlifting coach
Matthew Maier has been an active participant in athletics for more than 3 decades as both player (collegiate and professional) and coach. Through those years, he has amassed experience in a broad range of training techniques and developed his understanding of what is involved with the successful, efficient and safe development of the human body. In addition, he has furthered his understanding of physiology and bio-kinesiology through academic studies which have led to various degrees and certifications. He is most proud of the opportunity which he has had for greater than 20 years to work with a broad range of individuals ranging from those interested in getting in better shape to professional athletes. It is during this time, that he has developed highly successful, individualized and comprehensive training plans in order to help his clients achieve their goals. It is his greatest passion to help his clients reach their ultimate potential, whether that is to live a healthier lifestyle or to reach the highest point of their athletic ability. “I look forward everyday to the opportunity to work with people, youth and adult. It is my singular goal to help each of my clients reach and surpass their ultimate goals.” |
